The DJI Zenmuse Z15-GH4 HD 3-Axis Gimbal for Panasonic GH3/GH4 performs two key functions: keeping the camera level and providing stabilization, thus helping you transform a larger multi-rotor UAV, such as the S1000, into a platform for professional aerial video and aerial photography.  Featuring an approximate 0.01 degree control angle accuracy, the Z15-GH4 features three operation modes; two optimized for aerial video and photo use and one for FPV (first person view) applications.  The gimbal is operated using a dedicated stick on the transmitter (hand-held radio controller), and the receiver must have at least four free channels that can be assigned to gimbal operation.  Alternatively, a second transmitter can be use by a dedicated camera/gimbal operator.

The gimbal can be used with either the Panasonic GH3 or GH4 camera when paired with the Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12mm f/2.0 lens.  It is essential to only use the gimbal with this lens, as other lenses may throw off the balance causing poor performance and potentially damaging the servo motors. On-camera accessories - such as external microphones - should not attached either.

Compatible Aircraft
The Z15-GH4 requires a larger multi-rotor UAV aircraft, such as the S1000, S1000+, or S800 EVO, that has installed either the A2 or WooKong-M flight control system.  Depending on the UAV model the Z15 Gimbal is installed in, additional, separately available, electronics and mounting hardware may be required.  Apart from the flight control system, the receiver must have at least four open channels, and the transmitter must be programmable to support gimbal operation





Supports HD Video Downlink with Lightbridge
When using the Lightbridge system (available separately) is is possible to relay a live HD image to an HDMI monitor or mobile device at the ground end.  For analog systems - like the AVL58 - regular composite AV output is also supported

Two-Person Operation Supported
Four spare receiver channels are required on the transmitter to control the gimbal.  Alternatively, a second transmitter can be used exclusively for operating the gimbal.  This two-operator setup is ideal for video shoots, as the pilot can concentrate on flying while the camera operator can concentrate on framing the shot


Multiple Control Modes
Orientation-locked Control Mode:  Keeps the gimbal locked with the aircraft nose direction

Non-Orientation-locked Control Mode:  Gimbal point stays the same regardless of which way the nose is pointing

Back to Mid-point Mode (FPV Mode):  Centrally locks the gimbal in the direction of the nose.  In this mode the leveling and stabilizing functionality of the gimbal is negated

Built-in Independent IMU Module
Integration of the IMU Module helps reduce the amount of wiring required for installation.  Plus, the gimbal provides a specially designed and customized video output module


Gimbal Servo Drive Module
Following in the tradition of previous Zenmuse gimbals, the Z15 features high precision control characteristics demanded by professional users.  With high precision, low vibration, and high torque characteristics, this module helps provides additional camera stabilization


HDMI HD/AV Module
If you are using the DJI Lightbridge system you can stream an HD live view image to your mobile device or monitor at the ground end.  Plus there us an analog (AV) video output for 5.8 GHz video transmitters like the AVL58

Shuttle Release Control
When using the Lightbridge system it is possible to remotely trigger the camera's shutter release to take a still photo in flight

As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order we automatically reach out to our suppliers for shipment. 

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card it will ship and ARRIVE within 5-7 business days from the date of shipment to your address, unless otherwise stated for specific products.  Some larger products (ATVs, go karts etc) will take longer than 5-7 business days as they require time to inspect and ship by special freight carrier.

We will send you tracking information to the e-mail address you provide when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within 5 business days of your order feel free to follow up with us at sales@upzy.com.

DAMAGES

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive.  IMPORTANT:  If the item is damaged, you can sign for it as Damaged and we can then file a claim with Fedex/UPS and have the item sent back and replaced.  However, if there is damage and you sign for it as Not Damaged, then we will need for you to send information and photos on the damage so that we can work with you to resolve the situation.  You can send photos to aftersales@upzy.com.

RETURNS

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please email us at sales@upzy.com.  We can arrange a return authorization within 15 days of the receipt of your product.  The product must be returned in the resale-able condition it arrived in, with its original boxes, for a refund or exchange (no damaged items).  Return tracking number must be provided.  

Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.  There is a 15% restocking fee for all returned items.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Order Has Not Shipped:  $25 administration fee when canceled.  This is to account for the manpower hours used to prepare your product, which tend to be large in size.  If product is not in stock, you will not be charged this fee.

Order Has Shipped:  Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee unless otherwise stated.  

Buyer's Remorse Return or Refusing A Shipment When It Arrives:  Buyer is responsible for delivery (outbound) and return shipping charges and 15% restocking fee, unless the shipment comes visibly damaged and defective.
