You need to order the size that corresponds to the size of your pet door flap. For example, if you ordered a small Endura Flap patio pet door, you should order the locking security dog door cover in the size small.

• How do I un-stuck the locking cover?

To unstick an Endura Flap locking cover that is stuck upside down is a team effort for two people.

One person on the outside with a small putty or butter knife. Insert the knife between the frame and lock to release the latch open.
The second person on the inside should pull the locking cover out and then up when the lock is depressed.
I want to install my pet door under a window, but the frame of the window will prevent me from using the locking cover.

You can build up the wall under the pet door so the locking cover will slide past the window frame. Another option is to trim the sides of the locking cover enough to slip the locking cover into place then slide down as shown in the photo:
