The FAW-40-IPX has an electronic ignition. A thermostat is not included with this furnace. This is a 24V furnace and can be used with either a Wireless Remote Wall Thermostat (TRW) or a Wall Thermostat Millivolt Reed Switch (TMV) [each sold separately].

Interior or exterior wall installation for the FAW40IPX wall furnace is possible. Venting of this unit is up and through the roof. Interior installation options include flush on the wall or recessed between standard wall studs.

    • Oval Type "B" Flue Pipe: 4-1/2" x 9-1/4"

Counterflow wall furnaces heat larger areas and use a minimum amount of floor space. Heat comes out at floor level and rises, giving you an even heat distribution.

The optional side (SOK-1) and rear (ROK-1) accessory outlet kits allow heat to disperse from the side of the rear of the furnace to an adjoining room. A side register (SOR-10) can also be installed on the unit if it is installed flush to a wall.
 
Gas heaters are more cost-efficient than electric heaters. A sealed combustion chamber helps maintain indoor air quality. This counterflow furnace has easily removable front panels for maintenance and cleaning. The FAW Series of B-Vent Counterflow furnaces has a 74% AFUE Efficiency Rating.

A licensed gas technician is required for the installation of this product. Please check your local regulations as some areas may require inspection after installation of gas products. It is highly recommended that you use your own gas technician or gas provider for any repairs. Empire Comfort System warranty covers parts only, no labor.
