These are Performer ASSIST HANDLEBARS for Performer Recumbent Trikes, HB-04.
You can also use these handlebars to mount a phone holder and also use these handles as support to help you get in and out of your recumbent tricycle.

I purchased the Assist handlebars because I am now considered a senior citizen (for about 30 years) and have lost some strength and some balanced abilities. I can get up and down using the proper techniques however, I have a tremendous amount more enjoyment being able to get a hold of an object that I know isn't going to dump me when I wobble a bit.
