The Ecotric Hammer UL Certified 7 Speed Beach SnowElectric Bike series features a 750 Watt Rear Hub Motor with a 48v Lithium Cell battery.  Pedal faster with the 48V 750W brushless motor. 

The design is vintage and inspired from the 70’s.  The frame is designed to make it look old school, as an observer would regard it a homage to the good old 70’s.  Soft, yet sporty saddle with a suspension seat post for extra cushioning where it counts.  4” wide tires allow you to effortlessly float over virtually any terrain including sand, mud, and even snow.

UL Certification:

What is a UL certification?
  • UL stands for Underwriter Laboratories, a third-party certification company that has been around for over a century.  
  • UL was founded in 1894 in Chicago. 
  • They certify products with the goal to make the world a safer place for both consumers and workers.

UL 2849 (E-Bike Certification)

As of February 2018, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) noted UL 2849 as the expected electric system safety standard to ensure the safety of e-bikes and electrically power-assisted cycles (EPACs).

UL 2849 covers:

  • E-bikes (typically sit-to-operate and over-the-road use) and pedelec (pedal assisted electric) bicycles.
  • The risk of electric shock during charging over the life of the product and other potential electrocution hazards.

UL 2849 is the gold standard of electric bikes.  Underwriters Laboratories is familiar with the technical requirements for testing and certification.  By tapping into their technical expertise and testing capabilities, UL 2849 offers the highest levels of regulatory acceptance and market recognition in the industry.  It helps get safer products to market- an important responsibility for all e-bike manufacturers.

Ecotric hammer purchase

I was treated very good by upzy. I could not make the purchase on my phone because of a VPN. I called a woman I think she was in China ordered it for me. I expressed how much I really need this as I have one leg and I need to get out and not be in a wheelchair. I ordered it on a Thursday I got it on a Tuesday. I don't know if there are any left. I did not get a warranty card or any kind of detailed manual. I would say that is not u p z y s fault. I would have to give this a 5. These bikes were impossible to get from the manufacturer. This is an amazing bike I have done 90 miles on the ecotric hammer. People don't even notice I have one leg everybody compliments me on the bike. I would say u p z y is a good company. If I emailed them I got a response very soon. I know the bikes are designed in the United States and the money goes through the United States but it is manufactured in China and what things the way they are it's hard to get anything from China right now. I have seen that these bikes are not the same as the other ecotric bikes I don't believe that. Maybe they don't have the service I don't know I can't get ahold of ecotric but I'll try again. Thank you this bike saved my life
