We all know and love the new HPC Bafang 8fun mid drive system. The biggest problem is they are over-geared. We have solved this problem with our custom 104 BCD Spiders designed for the Bafang BBS01 and BBS02 mid drives. This is an extremely high quality piece of hardware which we designed to be both lightweight and strong. This spider, with the right gearing, allows you to increase your torque by over 25% when using a smaller chain ring.
*Requires 104 BCD chain ring of your choice and 4 x chain ring bolts. Using a good quality single speed chain ring (such as the raceface narrow/wide sprocket) will prevent any chain slippage and keep the chain from falling off! The last photo shows the chainline with a 10 speed rear cassette and 36T sprocket.
